1/2 cup simple syrup 4 cup brewed green tea 1 sprig of mint/thyme or what ever herbs you would like to infuse the tea with. This is optional. 1 Stick of cinnamon 1 apple 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries Equipment 1 pot 1 jug cutting board and knife measuring cups/spoons |
Direction
Brew green tea with mint springs and cinnamon stick as instructed. (seep for about 5-8 minutes) Remove tea bag and mint spring. Leave to cool. Wash apple thoroughly, divide into smaller pieces and add to the tea. Add simple syrup to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 - 4 hours Instead of adding ice, add some frozen berries to a cup and fill with chilled tea. Spoon some apple slices. Serve 4-6 |
