2 cups blueberry (fresh or forzen) 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cup filtered water or bottled water 1/3 cup Maple syrup or honey 1/4 cup lemon juice 2tbs Gelatin powder Equipment 2 pots that can hold all ingredients immersion blender or food processor Mesh strainer Jelly mold/ice cube tray, glass baking tray Knife/cutting board heat proof spactular/spoon measuring cups/spoons |
Direction
Add blueberry and water to a pot and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and blend in a food processor or in the pot with immersion blender. Strain all the chunks out before adding it back into a pot Add lemon juice, syrup/honey - cook for further 5 minutes Remove from heat, add gelatin and stir until combined. Pour carefully into ice molds/pan or jelly mold for minimum 2 hours Once solidified, serve with whipped cream and fresh fruits, or if using a pan, cut the jello into cubes and it's ready for serving or, place in freezer for special summer jello pop! Store in air tight container for up to one week. |
